raspberry pi3 stalls on Actiona: creating action dialog Pixel color

when initiating Actiona(3) from accecorries list the raspberry pi3 stalls on startup for Actiona(3): passes several inializations then freezes when "creating action dialog Pixel color"...about 1/2 way through the startup initialization sequence. Cannot run Actiona(3)

it appears I have latest update Actiona 3
