I am sorry I wasn't clear. When I am using the software is it possible to see the code? Most of this type of software you can click on something and a text editor will display the code that the software if producing.

One easy method is to click through ..

File > Export > Script content

However there is no styling of syntax.

A method I prefer is to open the *.ascr script using XMLCopyEditor.

http://xml-copy-editor.sourceforge.net/

For some scenarios you can also parse the xml (*.ascr) file using python xml.etree module to modify contents of elements without using the Actiona GUI.
